How To Start DiabloMu Successfully

Case 1 : Your client crashes and you receive a message from the Antihack Software saying "Client closed, muguard case 017. Cheat detected with memory scanning method." Reason : Some opened programs inject .dlls into main.exe and they are blocked by MuGuard. Solution 1 : Go to START > Control Panel and uninstall useless softwares such as SweetIM, Download Accelerator Plus, Speedbit Video Accelerator, TuneUP Utilities or any other simillar softwares that are totally useless for your computer. Solution 2 : Hit CTRL+ALT+DEL > Start Task Manager > Processes List > Check Show processes from all users. Order them by Name and start closing processes one by one except system32 ones until you find the fauly process and remember it's name to uninstall it. Everytime you close a process, try to run MU Client. Solution 3 : Close all Tray Icons especially Bluetooth Tray Icon in case you got a laptop. Tray Icons can be found where the clock is displayed, right-down side of your screen, right click them / mouse2 and exit.

Case 2 : Mu client is just crashing after the loading screen or while loading screen is almost done. Reason : Client's computer is infected with trojan rootkits that hooks api sockets and some more functions to steal data from the victim, these functions when altered will cause not only mu client muguard enabled to crash but also some tools using the same functions. Solution 1 : Use this tool, karspersky special tool for this type of rootkits, to remove this trojan rootkit and restore to original the api functions altered by the said rootkit. For nVIDIA Graphic Card users Install an older version of WHQL because the newer ones may not be compatible with the game. 1. UNINSTALL your current nVIDIA Display Drivers. 2. Go to this page, choose your Operating System and download an older version of WHQL. 3. Install THIS if you have a 32 bit Operating System OR Install THIS if you have a 64 bit Operating System. Solution 4 : Install Window7 x86 (32bit) since those players that had game crash problems on xp and installed a fresh copy of windows7 had no errors after that and the game and all other applications worked just fine. Reason: You have installed or currently running another game that is based on GameGuard anti-cheat engine and it's causing our own one, MuGuard not to launch the main.exe. Few example of such games may be League of Legends, Aion, Cabal, Raiderz, etc Solution: Close all programs that may use GameGuard or hit CTRL+ALT+DEL and close all processes related to the games you are playing outside of MU. Programs like League of Legends Replay Software may also block you launching MU so make sure it's closed. Reason: Your video card driver has issues and needs a rollback. Case 5 : You receive error message "Can not connect to FTP" Reason : Your firewall or antivirus is blocking the way and DiabloMu cant connect to the update FTP and update the game properly. Case 6 : Your client crashes and you receive a message from the Antihack Software saying some file is missing or altered Reason : One of the key files in DiabloMu Client is missing (has been deleted) or is altered(has been changed or modified) Solution : Delete the client , download a new one and install once again.When you install make sure your antivirus and firewall are turned OFF so they wont attempt to modify any of DiabloMu`s files . After a successful install , add DiabloMu to exceptions list in your firewall and clear its way in the antivirus (if you dont know to do this better uninstall both firewall and antivirus) , and then run the launcher (DiabloMu.exe or the shortcut from your desktop) in order to update to the latest version.

Case 7 : Your client crashes and you receive a message from the Antihack Software saying "Client closed, muguard case 030, (OODS.exe) detected" Reason : Your PC is infected with Malware. Solution : Open google and search that "something.exe" (in this case OODS.exe) , you will find out what it is and you will find alot of tools in order to disinfect your PC. Case 8 : Your client crashes and you receive a message from the Antihack Software saying "Client closed, muguard case 032" Reason 1 : You have tried or some program in your pc tried to modify a system file in the client. Reason 2 : lldb.dat is locked Solution : Delete the game and install it again , update it with launcher and DO NOT modify any file in it , unblock lldb.dat and run with administrator privileges. To unblock lldb.dat go to DiabloMu Folder => MuGuard => right click lldb.dat => properties => and you will see a window popping up and click UNBLOCK like in the picture below Also close any applications that interfere with the game including process explorer and sadboxie.   Note: If you still got problems create a new thread in our forum Help Section
